Range of Motion Brace
This design allows a pre-determined amount of motion, generally designated by your physician. The joints systems are very user-friendly and can be continually adjusted if/when the users needs change.
These are usually custom fitted.

This design maintains the elbow in a pre-determined, fixed position.

Dynamic Splinting
​
This design produces either flexion or extension assistance during use. The tension setting is adjustable and generally starts mild and progresses as the users needs dictate.
