TLSO: Scoliosis
These offer positional control of the spine by applying redirective forces. Each orthosis is custom fabricated to each patient based on fit and curve correction. They are worn for an extended period in an effort to prevent curve progression. They are designed based on x-ray confirmation of curve location and severity.
TLSO: Kyphosis
These offer positional control of the spine by applying re-directive forces. By stabilizing the lumbar spine and applying counter force against the sternum/chest, the orthosis can help prevent curve progression.
These are custom fitted or custom fabricated according to each patient's requirements.
TLSO: Pectus Carinatum
These offer corrective compression of a sternal deformity/protrusion. These braces are worn for an extended period but offer virtually guaranteed, significant improvement. Furthermore, no post-treatment regression has been reported.
These are always custom fabricated to each patient.
LSO: Pain Relief
These offer compressive support of the lumbar spine. While they don't directly address the cause of discomfort, the non-elastic compression can offer daily relief and encourage a more active lifestyle. They can also result in less intense night spasms, allowing more restful sleep, although they are not to be worn while sleeping.
TLSO: Post-Operative/Trauma
These are evaluated, measured, and fitted in the hospital after a surgical procedure or trauma. They offer both spinal compression and immobilization throughout the day. They offer unsurpassed spinal control and can be custom fitted or custom fabricated, based on a physician's order. Unless instructed by a physician, they are not worn during sleep. Use of this design is generally temporary, ranging from weeks to months.
Custom fitted versions are available same day whereas custom fabricated is generally available the following day.
LSO: Post-Operative/Trauma

These are evaluated, measured, and fitted in the hospital after a surgical procedure or trauma. They offer spinal compression while affording the patient full, active range of motion. Unless instructed by a physician, they are not worn during sleep. Use of this design is generally temporary, ranging from weeks to months.
They are predominantly custom fitted same day.
